I am a self-professed shoe addict.



I la la la love shoes!

My ardent love affair with shoes goes back to childhood and was encouraged by my doting grandma, aunties that dressed me up like a barbie doll, my mom (also a shoe-fanatic), and of course, our grande dame dictatress of the Philippines, Imelda Marcos. Apparently shoe fetishes run in my family and in my cultural heritage. I was born doomed to love shoes!



Imelda Marcos had a legendary amount of shoes and was the reigning lady of politics during my formative years. It wasn't that she was politically savvy or moved any political and metaphorical chess pieces. Imelda was an icon of degenerate excess. People loved to revile her the way they did Marie Anoinette. And, it was she that set the bar for me.

At 5-years old, I didn't really know it was consumerism at it's worst. I just thought, "wow, lots of pretty things that make me pretty too!" Shoes were like bows, they made everything beautiful and I wanted to make my whole world a parade of pretty by surrounding myself with it.




Today, shoes still play that basic, but oh-so-important, aesthetic role for me. Pretty that brings the oompf!

I find that shoes, can, and very often do, make or break an outfit.

Cliche, I know.

But seriously, shoes can be the coup de grace or the utter heartbreak of any getup--they can transfrom ugly to passable, passable to pretty, pretty to stunning and vice versa! They can be that final detail that just takes an outfit from the edge of gauche and trendy to refershinglhy avant garde. They can be the focal point or the inspiration behind what garments get pieced together to form a smart ensemble. Whether casual or dressy, our footwear DO get noticed, and for me, they are the extra sparkle that can elevate the dreary ho-hum to fantabulous!

It will come as no surprise then that my love affair with the shoe, or more precisely, with the uber-sexy stiletto, has also grown up with me. Outfits aren't the only thing being elevated by my shoes these days though. It seems like my sex life is getting a lift from my shoe obsession too!

My amorous affection for shoes does, of course, span the wide breadth and width of styles. But, my favorite is still, and will always be, the stiletto!

I feel so damn sexy in my stilettos that I can't help but wear them to adult-play time too!

OH Yes! I do like to have sex in heels. They're almost as necessary as lube, condoms, and a mirror (ok, more on that in another blog, gotcha curious now haven't I?).

Heels turn me on specifically because of that x-factor that they bring. There's something insanely powerful about a woman in heels that pumps up her sexiness factor by a couple of degrees.

In many ways a beautifully sculpted heel is like a woman. Women have beautiful, sinuous, deliciously deadly curves that are echoed by a sumptuously styled stiletto. Note too that the little details that adorn a sexy pump can also imitate the style, gracile, and essence behind the wearer. It's almost like a pair of heels can be a "pair of sexy" that one puts on.

So, when I'm having sex or getting ready to have sex, I like to turn the dial UP. Waaaaay up by putting more sexy on! I mean why have standard sex when you can have AWESOME sex right?
